DermCatalyst is a collaborative, solutions-oriented workshop that convenes leaders from across the dermatology ecosystem – including academic medicine, private practice, training, and organized medicine – to advance practical approaches to access, workforce development, and innovation in dermatologic care. The program builds on the legacy of the Diversity Champion Workshop while expanding its reach, relevance, and impact across the specialty.

By completing my registration, I agree to comply with the AAD meeting policies and deadline dates. I certify that all information provided now, and during the course of the meeting, is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand any misstatements or inaccuracies presented could result in my removal from the meeting and revocation of my meeting credentials for the current and future AAD meetings. By completing my registration, I acknowledge the AAD Privacy Policy and I have reviewed and agree with the AAD Waiver and Release Disclaimer Statement listed below. Waiver and Release: I understand that my participation in the event involves a certain degree of risk of loss, harm or injury to my person or property, including, but not limited to, harm from contracting viruses, acts of God, theft, fire or accident. I also understand and acknowledge that participation in this event is entirely voluntary and that the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) requires attendees to abide by any applicable rules of conduct or local or state laws that may be announced at any time before or during the event, which may include wearing personal protective gear, engaging in social distancing, agreeing to temperature checks or other health-related testing requirements, or providing proof of vaccination status. While AAD is the sponsor of this event and takes commercially reasonable steps to require the event facility to maintain the venue in a safe and healthy condition, I understand and acknowledge that AAD has no direct control over and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of the facility or others involved in producing this event. I have carefully considered the risk involved in attending this event and waive and release AAD and all its officers, directors, employees, staff, volunteers, faculty, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, injuries, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) that I may incur from my participation in this event. I agree and acknowledge that this waiver and release (1) shall be binding on me, my heirs, family, estate, representatives, and assigns and (2) is intended to be as broad as permitted under applicable law, and each waiver or provision herein is severable and shall apply notwithstanding the invalidation of any other provision herein. I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless AAD and its officers, directors, employees and agents (Indemnified Parties) from any and all third party claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, brought against the Indemnified Parties as a result of my own acts, omissions and involvement in the meeting and to reimburse them for any such expenses incurred. For those registering in Hands-on Workshops, your completed registration confirms your agreement with the following: I will follow universal safety precautions. I will use the sharps containers provided throughout the workshop location and will not place any sharps in the trash. I agree to release and hold harmless the AAD, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability loss, claim, damage or injury that might arise or result from, or relate to, now and in the future, the activities during this workshop. I understand that I may not take photographs or make any kind of recording with any type of device of cadaveric tissue during this workshop. I HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THE ABOVE ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS. I ALSO WARRANT THAT I AM 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
